Arabic Learning: Level One (Unit -1)

Learning Area

    1- Learn the long and short sounds of the letters   (ء  ،  ا ،  و  ،  ي)

    2- Recognize and write the letters’ shapes at the beginning, in the middle, at the end connected,                  and at the end separated.

    3- Recognize these letters and their sound in vocabulary words.

    4- Learn and memorize a few vocabulary words.

     5- Learn the demonstrative nouns ( this is, that is) for singular        

         Masculine and Feminine.

      6- Learn the pronoun “I”

      7- Learn about the Suffix that should be added to the noun to    

         form the possessive form of “my”.

       8- Learn about the Present tense verbs (to run, to walk, to drink, to study, like).

Unit  Outcome

• Introducing yourself
• Reading and writing the Letters  (ء ، ا ، و ، ي )  with short and long sounds and in different shapes.
• Creating simple sentences using single demonstrative pronouns for both masculine and feminine, using the unit vocabulary.
• Creating simple sentences using both pronouns “I and my” using the unit vocabulary.
